Limitation

There is not too much limitation on DBStream itself. The limitaion is the same as the traditional backup and restore. For examples,

• You may NOT stream database from new MSSQL version to lower version
• You may NOT stream database from very old version to the new version (For example, from MSSQL 2008 to MSSQL 2017)
• You may NOT stream big database from Enterprise/Standard edition to Express Edition. The max database size is limited at 10GB in Express Edition.
